Hiking Date
Getting connected to nature can help lower stress levels, improve your health, and supports you feeling connected to yourself, nature and each other.
Some of these trails do have some beautiful fall foliage but others are just great to do now that it is cooler in Texas. Here are some places you can check out:

Corn Maze Date
Trying to find your way out of a corn maze requires some communication, problem solving, and has taste of adventure. Go with your partner to a corn maze and take your time as you find way your way out.

Pumpkin Patch Date
This one is of course a classic for a Texas fall date idea, going to a pumpkin patch and choosing the right one. This can be the start to a fun date which could be that you choose your favorite pumpkin and then later make plans to carve them, paint them, or cook them.

It’s the best time to visit some local farmers markets and to pick some in season produce. You can then take your produce home and make something creative, whether that is something you will bake, drink, an appetizer, or your main entree.

- Having warm apple cider
- Make a squash medley
- Baking an apple pie
Attend a local festival
The best part of going to a festival is trying out some new food and/or drinks.

Watch a Scary Movie
Many of these ideas do suggest going outdoors and something more social, but if that is not you, sometimes just cuddling up together and watching a scary movie together can be fun too!
- Pull out your air mattress, get comfy with your blankets, and make some popcorn (this is literally what my husband and I do)
Ways to make your date memorable
